How many slots
Several October 2026 guides say a survivor brings three perks and one item. Older lobby guides say up to four perks. A long public "perk slots" article that talks about five active slots, bloodlines, and familiar perk names from other games does not match the perk names used everywhere else in Violence District. Ignore that slot table. Count the slots on your equip screen.
Generic perks are described as 250 Emblems each. The Cure's three perks are separately described as level unlocks. Those can both be true: shop perks versus a killer's personal perks. The pages do not spell out every killer's unlock button.
Survivor perks with a written effect
- Eyes of Heaven shows nearby pallets and windows. Guides also call it Windows of Opportunity. Best first perk if you get lost.
- Flow State speeds vaults and does not apply Winded.
- Great Collapse is 30% speed for 3 seconds after a pallet stun, then Winded.
- Time to Grow Up extends the speed boost after you are hit.
- Quick Recovery speeds you up after a vault, then Winded.
- Heads Up warns you when the killer is near, gives a short speed boost, then Winded. The hub blurb does not print studs or a percent.
- Group Project makes a shared generator faster. Use it when two people should finish one machine, not as a reason to stack the whole team all match.
- High Karma lets you self-unhook your first spike after you have already unhooked a teammate.
- On My Own is for the last survivor: 60% faster exit gate and the killer's aura.
- Grab My Hand is either bonus healing-bar progress on a rescue, or 75% healing speed for up to 75 seconds. The two public sentences disagree.
- Absolute Confidence is described as boosting the action speed of teammates within 180 studs while you are in a chase.
Items
You bring one.
| Item | What guides say it does |
|---|---|
| Parrying Dagger | If the killer swings while it is active, they are stunned for about 3 seconds. Works while you can still move. Easy to bait if you run straight at them. |
| Flashlight | About a 3 second blind aimed at the face. Can force a drop of a carried survivor. Killers turn into walls when they expect it. |
| Motion Tracker | Audio that tracks how close the killer is. Used to leave a generator before a stealth killer arrives. |
| Bandage | Heal without a teammate. Save the charge for a real injury, including a heal tucked into a loop if you must. |
| Adrenaline Shot | 10% speed for 10 seconds, then a slow. Used to reach a loop or to leave a slug situation. |
| Gate | A teleport with bad luck attached. Guides say it can place you on the killer. |
| Twist of Fate (Gun) | A shot that can injure you if it misses. Called a weak, high-precision pick next to the dagger and the light. |
| Shadow Clone | A decoy that works if you copy its movement. Aura perks are said to expose it. |
| Waxbound Candle | Described as an aura-reading item. No reliable range was published in the pages read here. |
Pick the item that answers the killer you keep dying to. Tracker against stealth. Dagger against a killer who swings through vaults. Bandage when nobody heals you. Flashlight when your team is being carried.
